Its time to take off the " I am Indian , we beat Pakistan Yaaay!" , "Pakistan choked again in the world cup" et al badges and appreciate what was a really riveting match. We would all be kidding ourselves if we are to start proclaiming that we are a far better team than Pakistan based on this victory. A tie , a bowl out --- Another day , another time it could have easily gone the other way. So lets all be sportive and applaud both teams for some superb entertainment. Well played India ! This was a close match. India did not do something great today. Good comeback after early loss of wickets which needs to be appreciated. We happened to win in a bowl out, which while good, no reason to paint the town red.

Pakistan lost few wickets but then came back strongly but failed to close the game in the end. All in all it was a fantastic cricket game. That said why is that in certain quarters of Indian cricket there is a comparison with Pakistan cricket? Pakistan cricket's in a mess and their recent results are terrible. India has won a historical test series against England in England (where Pakistan lost 3-0) and lost the ODI series 3-4 to England in England. I don't quite understand why people draw comparisons with Pakistan? India can look up to say Australia or South Africa and take those games very seriously. Pakistan cricket is at its worse at this point in time and although Indian team for Twenty20 is more of an experimental one drawing comparison with Pakistan is underrating the Indian team.
