Injustice to Pankaj Singh

Quite frankly Pankaj has shown how poor our selections are as far as bowlers, he is the best bowler we have for last five seasons in domestics , has pace, skills and virtues to take wkts and hold an end, how on earth can he not be in the squad and have jokers like VK, UNADKUNT, PK, RP, ISHAANT IN OUR TEST SQUAD. He should have easily got two wkts , showed he has pace to hurry the batters, skills and bounce, certainly should have been picked two or three seasons ago when he started bowling with more intensity and pace after working with Pringle, even our selectors could have earmarked him when he was 23 and we would have had a good test bowler , Aaron, Umesh, Pankaj, Pandey, Shami, Ishaant, BK make for a good pool and Bumrah, Shukla, Kulkarni a Choudhury SHOULD BE GROOMED FOR FUTURE ROLE , Dhoni has improved in this series but is still very poor in team selections and strategy, BK is simply not adding to his skills by bowling at a minimum required pace which is 133 to 139 k where he can be more effective and he is capable of bowling at that pace

^ i wonder if bhuvneshw has picked a niggle, has slowed down. Abt ps, Pankaj was at prime 2 yrs ago, missed getting selected. Pankaj is ok now but not at his prime anymore, he is decent but not the impact bowler anymore? Workhorse?? Now he is selected, can he be given a few Tests cotinuously pls?

Pankaj is a late bloomer and 29 is not old he can be both a wicket taker and a guy who can hold an end and bowl long spells, he is fit and strong and certainly think he can keep this pace which is 134 to 142 k range which is good, he did very well for a debut and is certainly more accomplished and skillful and allround better bowler then Ishaant, BK, VK, Unadkunt. I think he should be a fixture in our test side and can certainly have good 5 to 7 years bowling for india and he is hungry Umesh, Pankaj, Shami/Aaron/BK/Ishant can make a good unit, Shami has been very unlucky this series as he has most dropped catches and missed chances of his bowling but can certainly bowl better.

i liked the first Spell of Pankaj when he got COOK's nick...he even came upto 141k as well..he started of in rhythm and after bowling started loosing pace rhythm and accuracy as well. he looked like getting wickets in first Spell after that i would say he was very ordinary...at least one hit me ball in an over...like Shammi. Shammi looks like pacy but with not good control like Umesh Yadav..UY is sitting out just because he also used to give some HIT ME Balls....
