panther Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 That's is why he is one of the best ODI bowler at the moment. He does not bowl short. He gets bounce from length which batsmen find hard to score. RKT what do you think about irfan, how will he do in champions trophy?
prinzo Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 No one said Peterson and Kleinveldt are great bowlers..
trundlerNO1 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 They don't need Peterson really in their home conditon, and they done well and better than other countries in Asiae.g. mighty Australia in the past with even worse spinners
deathmonger Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 They don't need Peterson really in their home conditon' date=' and they done [b']well and better than other countries in Asiae.g. mighty Australia in the past with even worse spinners Only recently and that's cause of Steyn. McWarne team (mighty Australia) did a whole lot better than SA team. Heck they whitewashed SL and Pak at home plus also defeated us 2-1.
Texan Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 So SA bowling is only about 50 times better than Indian bowling. Only????
carnish Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Only recently and that's cause of Steyn. McWarne team (mighty Australia) did a whole lot better than SA team. Heck they whitewashed SL and Pak at home plus also defeated us 2-1. He says Saffers did well in Asia and its true ... atleast in India. At the time when South Africa won 2-0 against India in India, Australia lost 3 series in India and they won that 2004 series just because of the pitch and weather fiasco only.
adi B Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Morkel is overrated tbh' date=' doesn't have any swing, a good player of short player can smash him to all parts.[/quote'] i have always felt morkel is the one who can have more bad days in the office..if steyn gets injured saf will struggle big time, massively overdependent on him
