adi B Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 When Tendulkar and Ganguly batted conditions were relatively easier to bat on. Ganguly infact simply toyed with the bowling. This point was analyzed in the commentary itself . Promptly Dravid was adjudged man of the match. conditions were still difficult to bat and it was overcast, even giles couldnt do much,we got 20 english wkts without giving much runs which adds to the fact it wasnt easy out there

Batting was not all that difficult. Kumble applied lot more pressure on a supposedly "seaming" surface. Spin undid them.
Crookbond Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 WAsn't it the same game where we refused to take bad light and kept the English fielders on for the extra 30 minutes? I remember Alex Tudor and Giles being completely flummoxed when the ball was hit in the air. It was so dark that they couldn't see them!
