Would say that his 175 against Australia was better than his 200*. It was a shame that he got out when he did and that the tail collapsed.

Home:136 vs pak Away : surprised no body mentioned 192 vs England at headingly over cast conditions a green pitch, bowl swinging a mile, that was an amazing knock.

when he batted conditions much better. Only on day 1 batting was horribly difficult. Dravid made a brilliant 148. Bangar survived too to make 65. Dravid duly won man of the match. He has played so many great innings. But one that sticks out for me is his first ever century which incidentally saved India . 119 not out. The pressure England applied on him was immense. He came through flying colors.

AWAY: I would go with the 119* too in England, was a match-saving hundred from a relatively new player who had never scored a hundred before. HOME: I would go with the 155* that he scored against Warne. It's hard to find a truly match-winning or match-saving innings of epic proportions from him, but this could be the one since it set the tone for India since Warne with his reputation was expected to run through the batting line-up.

No they were not. It was just that Dravid and Bangar batted so very well that it appeared so. When Sachin came in on Day 1, it was still swinging and seaming profusely. Flintoff bowled a series of short pitch stuff from around the wicket.

Ganguly infact simply toyed with the bowling. This point was analyzed in the commentary itself . Promptly Dravid was adjudged man of the match.
