This IPL tamasha is not without serious side effects to Indian cricket. Yes it is fun to troll in IPL subforum, and we can all do that - making fun of csk or bambis or dillis, but that apart - the side-effects on Indian cricket are a worry. Not just youngsters, a Zaheer Khan or Sehwag is less committed to fighting their way back into the Indian team. They can rub their belly, make money in IPL and yawn. Is IPL making ppl (senior players too) lazy to work hard and find their way into Indian team? no, cause whats the players earn via endorsements comes via being in the indian team. Its a myth that IPL salary is the main source of income for Indian national team players. Somebody like RBS (before they went bust) used to pay Sachin more than the BCCI and IPL franchise Mumbai Indians combined.

I agree wit fineleg.. any young talent who work hard don't need foreign coaches.. if they got, it's just like an add on.. yes, I don't think Sehwag will do a Ponting here..
