Old guy Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Dhoni says :bye: Pollard had other batsmen helping him, while in CSK, other batsmen were ruining the match and ? its not like dhoni won the game.. in the end he came in to late and started hitting to late if anyone saw the game they will know it was useless inning and pollard's inning won mumbai the final also which other batsman supported him ? next highest score was rayadu and he was scoring at slow pace and got out too it was onslaught of pollard which turned the game
Sachin=GOD Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Dhoni's habit of hiding behind all his batsmen in the IPL led to CSK's loss - he was in good form and if he had come early then CSK would have won easily.
Sidhoni Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 and ? its not like dhoni won the game.. in the end he came in to late and started hitting to late if anyone saw the game they will know it was useless inning and pollard's inning won mumbai the final also which other batsman supported him ? next highest score was rayadu and he was scoring at slow pace and got out too it was onslaught of pollard which turned the game Read MTC's signature(previous one) At least Rayudu, Bhajji were there with him and scored more than run a ball. With Dhoni Ashwin scored 9(18) Dhoni's habit of hiding behind all his batsmen in the IPL led to CSK's loss - he was in good form and if he had come early then CSK would have won easily. Maybe he should have come at 5 but then the way the others batted, we might still have lost.

With Dhoni Ashwin scored 9(18) still does not makes it a better inning.., i dont get it all ur doing is making excuses how the feck did guy on losing side scoring less runs which made far less impact played a better inning ? just bcos it was in 2nd inning? well team was short by 20 odd runs so it was freaking useless and to be honest a very misbah like inning :giggle: dont tell me misbah played better inning then tendulkar in semi final vs india? :((

Debutant Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 What is the rational for Dhoni to keep resting his ass when all other batsmen were struggling. All Dhoni fan boys keep harping how he took a brave decision to promote himself in the ODI world cup final but will not answer where was this bravery yesterday. Clue : difficult pitch to bat on :hehe:
Debutant Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 If the pitch us difficult, Dhoni encourages others to face the difficulty and become better batsmen and sacrifices his own batting and comes at the end. But when the pitch is flat and easy to bat, he takes brave decision to promote himself and show his team mates hoe to bat.

Magneto Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 haters think there was a choke yesterday too when he clearly played the best knock of the final Epic! :hatsoff: Even DTW would be proud of this post!
bulbul Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Epic! :hatsoff: Even DTW would be proud of this post! It was predicted yesterday itself by some of us
rkt.india Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 If the pitch us difficult' date=' Dhoni encourages others to face the difficulty and become better batsmen and sacrifices his own batting and comes at the end. But when the pitch is flat and easy to bat, he takes brave decision to promote himself and show his team mates hoe to bat.[/quote'] Dhoni is not the greatest batsman technically. His main strength is his temperament and he knows his limitations and bats according to that. He knows if he can stay till the end with the support of 1-2 or top order batsmen, there is no score beyond his reach, but yesterday, no other top batsmen could stay long and remember, they were 39/6 by 8th over.
Raghav_12 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Best knock of final? Around the time when last two overs started Dhoni had scored 38 runs in 31 balls and match was all but over (Nobody can back himself to score 50 runs in 2 overs). If you are letting drift the game away by playing at strike rate 122, that too after coming to crease at 5 down, you would more be a contender for match ka mujrim award than best knock of the match award.
asterix Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I didn't followed the match yesterday but Dhoni did played a good knock. He ran out of partner cuz middle order fecked up.... That overhyped Jaddu should've stayed there...

That overhyped Jaddu should've stayed there... No, he ran out of partners because he was hiding and came at no 7. If he had come in front, the others wouldn't have had that much pressure on them. By the time he came, he was always going to run out of partners. Does a no 7 bat running out of partners surprise you?

Dhoni took CSK to 56 from 24 and it looked like we could pul this off. From 58-8 to that position was brilliant. But he didn't get enough strike as Ashwin played some dot balls. Misbah only hit 1-2 big shots when Req RR was over 30 :giggle:
