Typical fans, one good performances, suddenly he should play for India, he should play every game. RR haven't ignore Shukla. But he has failed to take his chances and is battling for the spot with many other fast bowlers. Using this thread, one could say the same thing about Sreesanth
what failed to make? played three matches, bowled well in two matches, too crucial wickets, ER was on a high side but those wickets were more important. Third match, he could not get any wicket, did not bowl too badly but pitch was flat and there were other bowlers in his team who bowled worse than him and still played next matches and were still thrashed. No one learns and improves until one plays.

Every player in the squad can wants chances not just Shukla. So to automatically give chances to Shukla makes little sense. And if anything, RR is the best side in the league to give youngsters the chances.

I am not against what are you saying but its unfair people dismiss a young player so early.

That's crazy from you. I can also say it's unfair for people to label a youngster as the next thing so early. This thread was made on that base itself where you believe he is too good a player to be on the bench. There are tons of other youngsters and even experienced players who are not getting the chances. Thus, as a mentioned earlier, it's a team game and you cannot beg for chances. Rather wait and then take your chance well when given. This player has not done that well.

Value of fast bowlers is known in 5 days and even in ODI..in t 20 any body can get a wicket and t20 is harakiri cricket... i will be disappointed if SHUKLA does not bcom a regular Bowler for INDIA.. if i am one of the selectors i wud only encourage fast bowlers and not even value medium pace trundlers , VK who is considered a big bowler in t20 was a huge failure on perth wicket and even in australia...
