not too sure.they can get hammered too.both Ishant n Vinay have been hammered in helpful conditions before.apart from Pakis I dont expect them to do well.so better have Jadeja who even if get hammered can make up somewhat in fielding n batting if Shami or even PK had been selected,I'd hv been in favour of thier selection.but both Vinay n Ishant are unreliable ODI bowlers

When? Remind me. Any one can be thrashed, but you will have to see who has more probability of doing well in certain conditions. Medium pacers will always be more useful than a spinner like Jadeja in those conditions. Jadeja's performance as a bowler in T20 WC was a proof. FYI, Ishant has a better ODI record than PK. Check that first. Shami is a green horn. VK is a not the worst bowler when conditions help him as he can bowl accurate with some seam.

Indian bowlers will do well up front with the new ball imo its the middle overs and death overs which concern me the most. Cant see Crapthan, Pissant or the Koomars doing well there.

Ishant is better than PK in flatter conditions but in swinging conditions PK comes into his own n is much better.if Shami is a greenhorn so is BK,lets drop him too.Shami has done well n shown the ability to swing the ball n be accurate. Even Narine could not do much last year in England. Let alone holding job, Jadeja will struggle to complete his quota of overs and will be thrashed with new rules. 4 pacers are necessary with new rules especially in England. They will be wicket taking options in these conditions, not spinners. You cannot contain batsmen. You need to get them out and play the bowler who suits the conditions. BK and Ishant bowled well against England and Pak whenever conditions helped. BK, Umesh, Ishant/Vinay and Irfan should be our bowling combination along with Ashwin.
