Arey Bhai, I wrote that too that with ministers in BCCI, its going to be difficult. But things should start somewhere. I am fed up with all the corruption everywhere in the country. Someone needs to do something, its becoming intolerable and I don't care if I sound dumb or ugly or stupid.

What will happen is what matters. By all means vote for the anna hazre party (if i could vote i would vote for them) if you want to. For the record I think the BCCI will be dumb to pull out. But at the same time i know where the real power in world cricket off the pitch is if they do decide to pull out. Lets also keep in mind this is the mumbai mirror. Which is not exactly the beacon of journalism. Its like a tabloid. Its maybe true who knows. But i would watch this space.

You people do not understand. I have been saying throughout that this is not realistic and will never happen. But this is what should happen in an ideal world. Anyways, basically you are welcome to ignore my posts if you feel they are dumb. :icflove:

BCCI is probably the least corrupt compared to other sporting organizations in the country. THe really take good care of Indian international cricketers and to an extent the domestic cricketers. Their treatment of women and spectorsi is pathetic though. But that requires a cultural change. Reg. bullying other countries it is to be expected. We don't live in lala land.
Debutant Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 If India pulls out of Champions Trophy, then first thing that will happen is all the sponsors will also pull out. Champions League will not be a reality then.

Says a :csk: supporter :hysterical: BCCI is successful because its having too much money and Cricket is the only sports is a buseness in India, no one care about other sports unless its Olympics or Davis cup or EPL :))
PriyankaSR Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 India needs Communism. No, it doesn't. Well congress is the one that lits the flames of communalism. Babri masjid issue was blown out of propotion by the great Rajiv. Not to forget the anti sikh riots. We need dictatiorship :hatsoff: :WTF: Congress supports RESERVATION. It doesn't have its hand in communalist riots, except the blue star operation(If it is considered one) which was very wrong, I agree. But the party doesn't have it in its objectives whereas BJP seeks to promote Hinduism only.
G_B_ Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Home » Sports » Cricket India will be a part of ICC Champions Trophy 2013: BCCI The BCCI has decided not to pull out of the ICC Champions Trophy. In a new development to the ongoing controversy centred around L Sivaramakrishnan's appointment to the ICC commitee, the BCCi allayed fears over its participation in the high-profile tournament next month. Earlier, the controversy revolving around the appointment of Laxman Sivaramakrishnan to the ICC technical committee reached its climax with the BCCI threatening to pull the Indian team out of the ICC Champions Trophy that is scheduled to be held next month in England. Sivaramakrishnan replaced Tim May on the ICC technical committee as the players' representative after a revote was proposed by the ICC. Before and after his appointment, rumours of BCCI pressurising members on the panel to vote in India's favour have been floating around. In a bid to clear the air, the ICC issued a statement saying that the revote had conformed to the rules and regulations laid down by the governing body. The issue escalated with Board members, belonging mainly to England, Australia and South Africa alleging the cash-rich BCCI of having subverted the election procedure to ensure the successful selection of its preferred candidate. With the furore over the appointment of Sivaramakrishnan refusing to simmer down, the BCCI has decided to take stock of the situation and act tough. The cricket boards of all the Asian countries, including Pakistan have put their weight behind India and are backing the tough stand taken by the BCCI against the cricket boards of the western bloc. This is not the first time that the BCCI has been at loggerheads with other countries. The Indian board has been against the use of the Umpire Decision Review System from the beginning whereas the rest of the cricket fraternity has welcomed the use of additional technology in cricket. http://www.deccanchronicle.com/130513/sports-cricket/article/bcci-threatens-pull-out-icc-champions-trophy
