Magneto
Just by observing how Jadeja carries himself, how he commentates, you know he's no fool. He knows how to take care of himself. There is absolutely notin to suggest that Sreesanth has an iota of that 'stone cold shrewdness' (for want of a better word) that Jadeja possesses. BTW how come Jadeja is not in the commentary box this IPL? We are discussing the legalities in both the cases. Sree may look like a fool in the ground but looks like a damn decent chap otherwise. And if he has been cleared by the courts, no one can stop him from playing cricket again if he wishes to. He'll anyway have many backers in that case as well. Link to comment
Magneto
Coal scam were every contract was given to either politicians or their close relatives :giggle: Arey, that has just started. Let the police/CBI first have a free hand at investigating that. Link to comment

yoda
See what Srikkanth is doing for the SRH team. Helping them win and make the top 4 even with a mediocre team + Steyn? :winky: Link to comment
someone
A new theory for Sreesanth is that he was in for the honey-trap rather than the money-trap. Thus, got caught at a wrong time and its huge implications. Link to comment

And if he has been cleared by the courts, no one can stop him from playing cricket again if he wishes to. He'll anyway have many backers in that case as well. there's a difference between decent and shrewd. Swing_n_speed rightly said that Jadeja is shrewd - he remained friends with many cricketers even during the times when his ban was in effect and then after his ban was lifted, he got back into cricket full time as a Ranji player, studio expert, news channel expert etc. Sree has already made enemies of the likes of Dhoni, Bhajji and because of his childish behavior, his antics etc many other cricketers anyways didn't like him even before this thing broke out so now that the his involvement in fixing has come out, they'll stay further away even if he comes out clean (which I doubt he will). He will certainly be able to play cricket again if he gets out of this clean but there's a difference between being accepted by the cricket community in general and just playing for a Ranji side that is desperate for an experienced bowler (which he is). rageaddict
Now more excuses are being framed as reasons for Sree doing it. Sreesanths MMS ? Yeah he was innocent all along, a player who always gave his 100% but a tragic turn came around when he eventually met a girl who he thought loved him equally and who later went on to make his mms and thus Sree was blackmailed into spot fixing to save his dignity in society.
