Hope that is not the case because "Absconding" status or "Being Summoned" is not what a innocent man would like him to be associated with.

Hope CSK fire him as CEO or whatever his position is even if there is slight evidence to support that he bet on any of the IPL teams. He probably will go to jail anyways if he did bet on IPL games. There was a baseball player in the US called Pete Rose who bet on baseball while he was still an active player and he was banned for life and went to jail.

So if Police can establish anyone has bet on cricket matches, then it is probably a non bailable offense. Some interesting twists to this spot fixing scandal. The question is how they can establish a transaction done for purpose of betting by means of cash or other receivables.

There is a slight difference between Pete rose & Meyappan,Rose is just a player but Meyappan is a owner.
