Lawyers of Asif , Amir and Butt argue that cricket is a sport primarily aimed to provide entertainment to fans and they were doing just that. When cricketers underperform on purpose for financial gain, they are cheating every cricketing fan who invests time and money into following the game. there it was a case of owners not being able to pay the money I guess - here its a case of owners (i.e. the BCCI President and his family) being involved in betting/fixing and maybe (I hope its not the case) even some players so I guess the BCCI would like a fresh start with a completely new team based in another city with different players.

Fair enough. There has to be fresh auction next year too though I think whichever the new franchise, should get to retain some players from current CSK players. Why would they change the city though?

They can bring an ordnance as of now that can be vetted by parliament later. But don't think there should be that much urgency on part of government. They have bigger issues to deal with.
