Read somewhere that at Tihar, Sreesanth is sharing a cell with Gopal Kanda, a murder accused and formaer Haryana Minister. Apparently Kanda has helped Sreesanth get back to sanity and has even helped him in getting top noth legal help!

I remember that most of us were laughing our ass off when Pak fans came up with multiple excuses to support their spot fixing players. They also claimed lack of evidence, victimization, conspiracy, etc, etc. Well we have our own desi examples here who think they players are completely innocent, betting on one's team is ok and that they know more than the police when it comes to knowing evidence and applying charges. And the arguments used here are very similar to those used by Amir and Asif fans, particularly about their being lack of evidence, as if its their moral duty to find loop-holes under which every fixer can escape

They are on tape as were the Pak players. Sree is not on tape and the evidence is circumstantial at this point regarding his case. And the application of organized crime law on them has been called out by others as well, not just here on ICF. To keep yelling P@ki for everything doesn't make it seem like one.

If you think regionalism doesn't exist in India you are naive. Whether it had a role to play here or not' date=' that is a different matter. Our selection panel itself has regional representation and each region has been reported to pimp for it's own players.[/quote'] Not sure where I stated or implied that regionalism does not exist in India.

And did they have a law of land primariy used for controlling terror applied in their case well?

Which is exactly like what happened with Asif. There was no direct involvement with bookies, nothing on tape. Except he bowled that no-ball. Just like Sree donned that towel

They couldn't be because they were foreign national. So like the marine case, they were given permission to go back on the condition they will come back. If they had been British nationals like Majid, they would have stayed in jail

Not really as Mazhar was arrested on late Saturday night and released on bail on Monday morning. The one day he spent in the jail was because courts were closed on Sunday!

Just like Sree donned that towel[/quote'] Yes, no direct involvement, circumstantial evidence at this point, which doesn't mean he is not guilty. In fact I had posted a bunch of additional issues with Sree's story namely him being with the bookies and being close to the 2 other accused players and been provided with girls by the bookies, etc. What is in contention is whether the underworld connection even makes sense here or just a way to keep them in jail without a chance for bail.

Kundra and Shilpa firstly are not owners of RR. These two have used it several times purposefully and so did the media. Shilpa, you are not the mother of RR as once stated by you. And because of both of them, RR is getting in some trouble. It's unfair to RR team and its supporters.
