vvvslaxman Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 It is a breakaway thread from lol@rcb :) Picked randomly some of the top run getters and their away performances.. bulbul Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Another skewed analysis. Pitch where Hussey made a 50 is the only patta Hyderbad played @ home.
vvvslaxman Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 how about bowlers Bowlers i am not sure..Probably Narine would lead the pack who bowled well almost everywhere.

This is just a stat. I don't factor in each and every weather condition, pitch condition, bowler standard, who missed in the opposition etc etc...

Lord Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Bowlers i am not sure..Probably Narine would lead the pack who bowled well almost everywhere. nah I'm concerned about our folks.claims like Mishra is our best spinner and Ishant is best pacer(by you know who:giggle:),I wanna verify that :sherlock:
vvvslaxman Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 Ok This is a skewed stat of no use unless taken along wiyh context. Either way.. it also coincides with team's performances. Mumbai lost most of their away matches, RCB lost most of their away matches. There is your context if you want to analyze. In Mumbai's case their bowlers stepped up to notch a couple of wins. In RCB's csae bowlers stepped up for opposition. :giggle:

vvvslaxman Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 Except for lose against MI' date='other loses are very very close, stats wont give you clear picture.[/quote'] That is what i meant. your bowlers stepped up for opposition.. in some case bowlers stepped "over" :hehe:
The Realist Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 That is what i meant. your bowlers stepped up for opposition.. in some case bowlers stepped "over" :hehe: :cantstop: I fail to comprehend how RCB thought they could get anywhere near winning with THAT bowling "attack". Seriously at least go through the motions and get some half decent bowlers, rocking up with trundlers is just plain embarrassing.
Pagalpanti Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 ^They had a pretty good attack tbh, Vinay was in really good form during 1st half and Rampaul kept chipping in with decent figures. Problem for them was the 3rd pacer.. RP was trash and Unadkat was hot and cold, tbh though they still had it easy if they had not fudged up the 2 games vs KXIP..

You have to play well throughout the 20 overs. Once or twice bungling up is fine. but not this frequently.
vvvslaxman Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 Hussey has scored 400 plus runs at away venues alone incredible.
