Zaheer excelled in England, RP did well too RP excelled in the Twenty/20 tournament Sreesanth has been good in patches.........however he has potential and aggressiveness Pathan looks like he is getting back. He will be solid add as he can bat. Now only if Munaf gets into the act, he looks lazy but is a good bowler. With this bunch and Kumble, Bhajji, Powar and Chawla in the spin dept, I feel like we could do something down under later this year. That will be the acid test as far as I am concerned. Against the best team in THEIR backyard. Main thing for them is to be consistent. CHAK DE INDIA!!

Question is why this inconsistency....it is a mental problem......that is why we need a inspirational leader and a onboard pyschologist.

All 11 were fighting as if it's matter of life and death. That's what tamed much hyped Saffies and Kangaroos. Of course they need to practice hard, under an able guidance, Prasad is doing OK. They just don't seem get over it. Don't bring back any player unless he improves drastically in domestic cricket and at least try new bowlers.

And please, I don't see a point in dropping Sree ahead of ishant. To me Sree is as good (if not more) as Ishant. If Ishant cannot be dropped, Sree can't be dropped either. I do believe that he is a much better bowler than this tour showed. he can rip sides apart. A fully fit Sree, Ishant, PK, Zaheer and perhaps even RP can be lethal against any opposition,. For now I would love to see them practice harder, keep their fitness and physique in top shape and then come on to bowl for India. Otherwise let us not waste time on these "experienced" bowlers who can't keep their fitness upto international standards.

But we don't notice that Sree hasn't justice to his potential and he performance is constantly degrading. Has he showed signs of improvement in his bowling? Sree is already 28 and yet he bowls like this after playing cricket for 6 years. His career will be over in 4-5 years. Ishant is a better bowler than earlier. He has worked hard and most importantly he has time. 10 years or so. He can become a good bowler if he keeps on improving.

He still after this ordinary series has better overseas average than Ishant (even after his performances against the Mighty Windies this season). I am sure a fit and rhythmic Sree is far more dangerous than Ishant.
