diga Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 commission will be packed with CSK loyalists. Nothing is going to happen..... Raina will continue to dominate on super flat wickets. The cheating is there for everybody to see out in the open. I cant wait till the Septemper agm. Now I sincerely hope Raina is selected for SA tour, we again lose 3-0
SLICKR392 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 What an arrogant SOB. Called L.Modi a fugitive. :giggle: Modi's twitter is worth a check today. Modi's twitter profile pic..
Sidhoni Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 What an arrogant SOB. Called L.Modi a fugitive. :giggle: Modi's twitter is worth a check today. Lol Modi has been having fun over all this. Saying Shukla should resign too, giving proofs and what not! :giggle:
diga Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Seeni doesn't know ICC rule about directors near family having betting ties :hysterical: :hysterical: ICC Section 11 or something asked by NDTV reporter Rika Roy... surely someone is working in the background.
Crookbond Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Some excerpts from the press conference + Independent commission to be setup, 1 independent member to be part of it + Srinivasan not to be in any involvement with the committee - appointment or functioning + Gurunath was NOT the owner of India cements, only a team management + India Cements looking after cricketers since 50 years; CSK is run by ex-cricketers + "I will not reply to fugitives" when asked about Lalit Modi's comments + Srinivasan will NOT resign; no one from BCCI has asked him to resign He was caught off guard though when asked about ICC Clause 7.2 :hatsoff: to whoever asked him that question
bulbul Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Some excerpts from the press conference + Independent commission to be setup, 1 independent member to be part of it + Srinivasan not to be in any involvement with the committee - appointment or functioning + Gurunath was NOT the owner of India cements, only a team management + India Cements looking after cricketers since 50 years; CSK is run by ex-cricketers + "I will not reply to fugitives" when asked about Lalit Modi's comments + Srinivasan will NOT resign; no one from BCCI has asked him to resign He was caught off guard though when asked about ICC Clause 7.2 :hatsoff: to whoever asked him that question He didn't even answered about Mayappan involvement , almost cried They should have only asked him about Mayappan surely thrown chairs at reporters :hysterical:
G_B_ Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Lets keep in mind that Jaitley skipped the meeting. I am sure the people asking him to resign will first test the waters to see if they have the votes needed. Srini's terms expires in March 2014 in any case.
diga Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 A commission has been set up to look into the Gurunath Meiyappan issue. It will include one independent member and two out of the following five: Arun Jaitley, Ajay Shirke, Rajiv Shukla, Ravi Shastri and Sanjay Jagdale. Srinivasan said he will not play any part in the appointment of that member
Crookbond Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 ICC Code of Ethics Section 7.2 Clause (1) No Director shall, either directly or indirectly bet or instruct, permit or enable any person for the benefit of any such Director to bet on the result, progress or conduct of any cricket match or cricket competition. Srinivasan was clean bowled here. http://icc-live.s3.amazonaws.com/cms/media/about_docs/518a70dc8a41b-Code%20of%20ethics%20for%20the%20ICC.pdf
Crookbond Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 He didn't even answered about Mayappan involvement , almost cried They should have only asked him about Mayappan surely thrown chairs at reporters :hysterical: To be fair, he didn't need to.
bulbul Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 To be fair' date=' he didn't need to.[/quote'] May be , but if he is honest.......:--D
bulbul Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 What difference will 1 independent person makes in a commission full of BCCI people? When there is a clear rule saying you have to disband franchise based on owners act why should a commission need to check that?
Sachin=GOD Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 I've seen quite a few press conferences of sports persons, businessmen, politicians, actors etc who have been involved in scams and are trying to be defiant but I've never seen anyone so shameless and contempt worthy as Srini.
asterix Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Will there be any commission to investigate his act of allowing his SIL to be part of CSK?
asterix Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Looking at his bullish ways and shamelessness, no wonder he was fixing for CSK matches every IPL edition...
Sachin=GOD Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Will there be any commission to investigate his act of allowing his SIL to be part of CSK? I don't think thats illegal.
superstar Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 ICC Code of Ethics Section 7.2 Clause (1) Srinivasan was clean bowled here. http://icc-live.s3.amazonaws.com/cms/media/about_docs/518a70dc8a41b-Code%20of%20ethics%20for%20the%20ICC.pdf How does this apply to Srini? Srini did not do any betting or encourage it :hatsoff:
bulbul Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 How does this apply to Srini? Srini did not do any betting or encourage it :hatsoff: It mentions any close relative to director. Unless you consider Mayappan is a Honorary SIL , Seeni is wrong.
superstar Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 It mentions any close relative to director. Unless you consider Mayappan is a Honorary SIL , Seeni is wrong. But he did not encourage him
bulbul Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 But he did not encourage him He is only enthusiastic , we know
