Those who are talking about how money has started to dominate the game only have to wait till Ambani takes over (if that happens), then we'll see cricket would mean only one thing - money. Period.

That was all over the news. No ****ing wonder as well as Reliance industries stock performance sucked and the dividend paid sucked even more. I dont think Mukesh has ever indulged in anything illegal. He usually operates in the grey for many of his ventures never illegal. In any case i dont think he will make a foray into cricket. Its more of a case of Sharad Pawar, after getting his man Ravi Sawant elected as MCA president he probably wants back. A relative on mine in Mumbai was telling me that Prithviraj Chavan the maharashtra CM has really put a squeeze on Pawar and the NCP. They want entry back into cricket as an income stream to fight elections in Maharashtra

As for CSk players in the squad : None of them were undeserving, Vijay emerged as the leading run scorer in the BG trophy, Ashwin was the leading wicket taker and Jadeja not far behind him. And by that same logic, Ishant and Rohit should also have Rhiti contracts since they are in the team. Its just poor selection from the selectors.

Also Prithviraj Chawan isn't exactly a powerful CM and has no base of his own in Maharashtra to do anything against Pawar.
