YOu bagged him when he led a side 0-8 whopping.. But did you make an attempt appreciate him when he made an attempt to save the Test against England. That is what i am doing now. Just realized Amarnath made those comments on my wedding anniversary - I think we should analyze the runs scored by Dhoni with respect to my wedding anniversary instead of Amarnath's comments. :hysterical: This is not some appreciation thread - this is utter stupidity to link his performance with some comments from Amarnath. I am sorry if I don't see the depth of your analysis linking the two. The next time he is going to fail, it's because Amarnath did not make some comments to pep up Dhoni? He has made some really quick stumpings.. Effected some good run outs as well. You are never going to get a perfectly safe keeper.

Regarding saha if i remember that match was discussed and those catches were half chances.Saha is a better keeper allround no doubt.

One of Chanderpaul.. cost them a test match. my personal opinion is dhoni will become a better batsman home or abroad if he gives up keeping. he is the best puller in the indian team, he can score many runs by just being a #6 batsman. too much workload now for him

No more Dravid, Tendulkar. So India needs 7 proper batsmen. I understand with ABDV as he is a gun Test player whose potential is underutilized due to keeping. But with Dhoni, he is not as good as ABDV or Even Sangakkara. Till such time India cannot afford a specialist keeper.
