vvvslaxman Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 The Bcci president is known admirer of dhoni and even supported him when selectors dropped him as captain. He is captain of the CSK.It would have easy for dravid to say no comments too.Yeah Bcci is powerful and even likes of gavaskar and shastri Sprout bullshit on channels which make u want to Slap them.Best Thing for Msd would have been to say Law will take it own course and matter is under investigation. But It seems Its time for him to Payback for all srini has done for him.I mean the more u look at it The mor eu find similarities between MSD and Srini. why do you need a "formal run of the mill" answer? What exactly as a cricket fan you derive from that. There are some contractual obligations for all cricketers. Dravid is no more a playing cricketer. Only a real lunatic will respond to all the questions of press. If i were in his position i would do exactly the same thing.

With that in the hindsight, this smiling silence was embarrassing for him and BCCI... No problem if he doesn't wants to answer all the questions then he should follow the same strategy all time instead of to even simple questions... :cantstop:

Its better than Silence which is defining considering his relationship with Srini.Dravid is no more cricketer but He still is involved with Bcci.As I said Its dhoni time to repay faith. Most indian cricketers Do not have High Moral Ground to stand On Anyway.Sporting Heroes My F:finger:

So your accusation can fit anyone ever played for India... except may be loonies like Sreesanth

So your accusation can fit anyone ever played for India... except may be loonies like Sreesanth Thats why Dhoni is just another cricketer/captain , no special respect for him.
vvvslaxman Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Thats why Dhoni is just another cricketer/captain ' date=' no special respect for him.[/quote'] He did like any sane cricketer would do.. No big deal. But taking pot shots at him over this is ridiculous.
bulbul Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 He did like any sane cricketer would do.. No big deal. But taking pot shots at him over this is ridiculous. These are not potshots , I thought Dhoni have some standing in Indian cricket , just brushing away this incident without giving any answer is strange.
vvvslaxman Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 These are not potshots ' date=' I thought Dhoni have some standing in Indian cricket , just brushing away this incident without giving any answer is strange.[/quote'] As long as Dhoni displays his "standing" on the field that is enough.. any cricketer for that matter. Not the filthy yellow journalists we have in 1000s.

bulbul Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Just saw the press conference , he should win a Oscar for the performance. :hatsoff:
asterix Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Proves that he's not a leader but merely a puppet. Any other self respecting captain would've said straight forward answer that the 'matter is under investigation and he cannot comment on it' instead showing to the whole World that he, Srini, BCCI and IPL have lots to hide and they are such arrogant, egoistic bastards that can't be bothered to answer even standard answers with straight face and need an effing BCCI minder to put up a farce show and ending up creating more suspicion, more questions and scorn for stake holders of Indian cricket including players...
Karan114 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Not even a shred of dignity in this Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Well and truly happy to be Srinivasan's *****. May have a wealth of a gazillion dollars but still a pathetic little weasel scumbag. Shame on him. His complete silence at a crisis that has completely ripped the credibility of Indian cricket into shreds shows is nauseating. Even more hilarious to see his fanbois justify their hero's pathetic behavior by blaming the media.
vvvslaxman Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 May be enough for fan boys :winky: Forget as Indian Captain, he should reply as a captain of team whose Principal arrested by Police. I am far from fan boy... but i would have backed any cricketer on this stance..
bulbul Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I am far from fan boy... but i would have backed any cricketer on this stance.. Believing you is bit difficult , but I will give a try :winky: You expect a cricketer just do his job and go home , but for some people game is bigger than players. So when some disrepute happens to game we expect 'legends' to stand up and help in cleaning a system. Just my opinion.

Consdiering this is a circus i don't give a flying walenda.. :cantstop: whether he gives a straight answer or not. I would give my middle finger to press and go. Pretty much all matches are fixed officially. ALl legends are part of it. instead of being two faced i would rather be quiet. :cantstop:

Now you are questioning integrity of players such as Sachin,Dravid,Dhony etc. Its not the question of T20 or tests , its about your principals. [Not honorary one]

If he does that in international where his players are under the pump atleast what you say makes sense.
