so what increases the marketability of a player when a firm is signing up a player for atleast an year? Does Rhiti have a history of signing talents who are yet to break into Indian team?
I dont know what Rhiti business model is or what their business strategies are. :dontknow:

Nobody is clamiing that Dhoni did anything wrong to give unfair advantage to any of these players. Not as of now. But can anybody deny that there is 'conflict of interests' in this case, for Dhoni?
What u mean unfit R.p singh Selection In England straight from england is a glaring example,There are many others.

Then how you are commenting it's only marketing company, nothing to do with managemnet etc :hmmm:

Rhiti sports management firm: Mahendra Singh Dhoni has no stake in the firm as on 26 April Wonder why this emphasis on "As on 26th April"
So Dhoni sells his stake in Rhiti in the middle of IPL.. did he have an inkling of the scandal breaking out?

One has to a inside the company to know it.... btw i didnt mention that it was a Marketing company, it was the article you quoted that stated it. I just concur with that fact mentioned in the article.

One area the Indian media has ignored for far too long is player's endorsement contracts. If someone did a detailed investigation by accessing contracts signed by the top players, a lot of interesting findings will come out and will expose our superstars even further.

I do remember some controversy about a players contract with a shoe company where he was paid for the amount of time he spent at the crease (irrespective of the runs he scored)

Rubbish? Its official with numbers. What part of it is rubbish?
so you think there is no conflict of interest? ....answer wisely
Yeh kaisa bahana hai? Please provide a proper argument for Dhobi's case....
How is this affecting Indian cricket? FYI RP Singh says he is not even apart of Rhiti. DIdn't Kumble own Tenvic when he captained India? Doesn't KP own something like that where his company manages Ian Bell? And its not as if Rhiti is Dhoni's company. He has some stakes in it. If there was something fishy, this news should have been shown all over an year ago. No one cared about this an year ago. But now since CSK officials have been in trouble, they are trying to gain more TRPs by this. And I don't know if following is true or not, but if it is, then what do you have to say? :
even sachin was contrcated with Rhiti sports.. so dhoni managed sachin :cantstop:

MCA website had Sakshi listed as the owner of Rhiti a few months. Someone posted a screen shot on this site. Surprisingly everyone in media was in quiet about it, now it is coming out like a breaking news.

Forget K.p If he is involved in wrong he will caught too.U Have take dhoni fanboy glasses off to see what morality is and i think u are better than what u Post. Just Remember If not stopped here the next captain whoever he is might also follow the example.

Careers have been made and lost only because of COI (no actual misdeeds but only appearance of COI). This will be one of the first things you company will make you read and sign

according to a statement issued by Rhiti Sports, the shares issued to Dhoni were bought back the following month. "As on date, MSD holds no shareholding in Rhiti Sports Management (P) Ltd," read the statement, signed by Pandey in his capacity as chairman and managing director of the company. "However, it is made clear that shareholding was allotted to MSD on 22.03.2013 only to secure certain old outstandings which were due for more than one year. "Further, the payments were cleared in April 2013 and the shareholding was transferred back to promoter of the company on 26.04.2013. "It is made clear that the Management of Rhiti Sports Management (P) Ltd understands its obligations to the field of sport and the country and adheres to the laws of the land."

You are right as well as wrong. MS Dhoni always had a potential conflict of interest which is exacerbated by the recent allocation of shares (those shares however have been bought back by Rhiti though according to a statement from the company). Now, whether or not other people are in the same position is irrelevant to the subject at matter. However, you're right that Dhoni is being held accountable more unlike other players. None of this though changes the CoI position though.

There has been, however, no documentation so far to support the buying back of shares from Dhoni by the company.
Hope they find the documents soon :winky:
