Sidhoni Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 then he should be in the moment the first wicket falls thing is I want him to face as much overs as possible (without opening ofcourse) as hes the senior batsman in this lineup I don't think he will be coming 1 down. It will be Kohli for sure unless the openers play out 30-35 overs which is unlikely. I would also want him to face as many overs as possible but I don't think he will come in higher than 5.

Kohli is good for initial overs to avoid any collapse and lay foundation but after 20 overs you need to be at certain pace right through which I dont think he can do.MSD becomes much better there.ofcourse if we lose couple of quick wickets Kohli can again be used to stabilise things

He might not be as quick in getting runs as Dhoni or Raina but he can certainly do that job.
