adi B Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 watched both the matches,brazil won 2-0 deservedly vs mexico. italy won 4-3 vs japs,it was a cracking match with japan being the far better team and the commie rightly said it was a daylight robbery when italy scored the winner @86th min.. both the team`s defense were in shambles,have to rectify it
Sooda Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Japs deserved to win that. Apparently Honda is on a free transfer this summer!! Yes both teams poor defensively, some seriously dodgy refereeing too. if that first peno was a bit harsh the second was a ridiculous decision...

The italians seem to blow hot and cold. They always have. Will be interesting how Italy v Brazil pans out. Two very attacking teams at the present. Brazil me thinks should win it. Brazil and Italy are through to the semis. Spain and the winner of todays match of Uruguay v Nigeria should join them IMO

Dont know why Giovinco was bt on for Gilardino, and not SES. Gio did nothing. The quality of the penalty shootout was bloody awesome.
