Anderson along with Steyn are the best fast bowlers in the world. I expect Pattinson to join them soon and if Umesh Yadav learns to control his line & length he will be a star as well.

pattinson is good finn is better imo even though he is up and down but he is better than pattinson for now .. what about philly boy? :nervous:

Finn is not better than Pattinson. Finn nearly cost England the Test with his loose bowling and struggled against the tail. Philander is pretty good but Pattinson has a greater upside IMO.

He doesn't have the right attitude and took his foot of the pedal after every decent performance. There are so many times we saw him with love handles and belly-tires after a break.

In swinging conditions Anderson is more lethal than Steyn but if the ball is not doing much and the pitch is flat, Steyn still can be relied upon to change things owing to pace. Anderson doesn't have that skill and that's why I would rate them at the same level.

nah just bcos steyn is quicker does not means he has less contorl he out classed every english bowler last year only on tracks with no help anderson didn ot lookedl ike picking even one wicket against solid batting line up while steyn was winning watches like always

The last time Steyn bowled on a pitch that had some swing, he nabbed a 6fer for 8 runs.

exactly ..lets not make things up like steyn has less control or less lethal on green tracks just to glorify anderson..i love anderson's bowling have been his big fan and one of reasons im even supporting england in this series but steyn is just better and there is no shame to be number 2 after him .. steyn is a freak he can bowl at anderson's pace and bowl even more accurately then him and in next spell touch 152k and bowl bouncer after bouncer..
