omkarkiran Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Except Sachin & Gilchrist.. I didn't see anyone who could walk without waiting for Umpires decision when they are sure that they are nicked.
Raghav_12 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Except Sachin & Gilchrist.. I didn't see anyone who could walk without waiting for Umpires decision when they are sure that they are nicked. I don't think Sachn has been walker all his life.
rkt.india Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Sound of shoe lace hitting the bat :hmmmm: Yeah. Hot spot showed nothing. Umpire gave him out. He did not review it because he was not sure if he hit the ball or not. Actually, bat hit pin part of his show laces. Everything was clear in replay.
rkt.india Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Except Sachin & Gilchrist.. I didn't see anyone who could walk without waiting for Umpires decision when they are sure that they are nicked. omkarkiran Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 I don't think Sachn has been walker all his life. as I said.. not all the time.. but when he knew he nicked the ball.. definitely he will walk away without waiting for umpires call.. this is from my observation.. :) Gilly does this much often..
omkarkiran Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Sorry Rob - I can not find the original video. If anyone does, let me know - I will edit this link. xNda0AW-LxA Thnx for the video.. there might be one or two situations like this.. but most of the times.. when I watched them.. they left volunteer.. anyways.. its my personal opinion..

Debutant Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 ha ha ha.. video made by an Australian.. :hysterical::hysterical: How does that change anything ???? Sachin sometimes walks sometimes not. Depends on his mood I guess
omkarkiran Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Fwr4g60w2tI See this video.. As I Said.. there might be a few situations where U may not recognize or not sure of the nick from ur bat under huge crowd noise.. but surely many times.. since I started watching cricket.. I saw Sachin to walk volunteer if he sure of nick.. no offense to hurt anyone..
omkarkiran Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 So? :dontknow: umpire referred to Leg umpire for clean catch and not given out, he could have taken help of third umpire.. I don't see any nick in that video.. its just an aussie who created that video with that search title..
omkarkiran Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 How does that change anything ???? Sachin sometimes walks sometimes not. Depends on his mood I guess I agree to the point.. every batsman can't walk away always.. It is not about mood bro.. there might be a few situations where batsman are also unaware of their nick under huge noise in the stadium.. which left batsman to stay for umpire's call..
Debutant Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 I remember once against Pakistan, Sachin walked for a caught behind. The bowler was Actor. The ball touched his gloves and was caught by the wicket keeper. But the replays clearly showed that at the moment of contact with the ball, his hand was not touching the bat. So he was not out. Now find me a guy who has walked off when he is not out :phehehe: Scared of Actor I guess :vroam:

omkarkiran Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Clean catch. :cantstop: Can you get a catch cleaner than that? yeah its a clean catch.. then after referring why did umpire not called for out? he could have used sniko or refereed to third umpire for nick.. my point here was not about catch.. :shakehands:
