putrevus Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 David Gower is whining about why ICC is not able to force BCCI to use DRS with Richardson. Has anyone asked these two faced hypocrites why England plays two test series against NZ and 5 test series against Australia. or WI early in season to fill in to satisfy their broadcasting partners and some other mega series for prime time summer. So why is ICC not forcing England to play equal tests with all teams and is allowing England to essentially get away from discriminating between teams. So it is okay for them to twist ICC to suit their needs but India is twisting ICC to suits their needs. Why is it okay to have England and Australia have their prime time summer seasons every fricking year and all other teams catering to fill in those slots. Weather is best in November to January in India too also for cricket it is not hot and even South Africa but they are forced to leave them and cater to these fricking teams. But when Ashes comes Aussies/England don't need any other teams for main act so they call in fill in like SL and Bangladesh for two tests and grant teams like SA to have their home summer. SA did the right thing is starting their own summer calender. Whole world cricket has to revolve against these two teams.WI was once prime time but they have thrown them away like dirt rags as they don't generate enough TRPS. Aussies to be fair don't whine that much about BCCI and IPL. But BCCI is destroying world cricket by not opting for DRS. They have thank BCCI that they are still not that rigid about having set home cricket calender. Every other team except these two teams have uncertain home calendar but hey it is fricking imperial cricket conference still so what ever these bozos say still goes. What is fricking ICC doing about this fricking injustice happening for last 70 years. At least BCCI has balls to say no to these fricking teams and are not bunch of pansies dancing to their tunes.
G_B_ Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 One thing i do agree from this rant. BCCI need to create a prime home season from November to Feb. England wont mind at all if they play 3 tests v the first team. Most English fans would be more than happy IMO
The Outsider Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 The DRS issue is more fundamental because it alters the basic playing rules of different tests being played around the world in contention for the number 1 spot and the qualification for the test championship.
putrevus Posted July 18, 2013 Author Posted July 18, 2013 Hot Spot is not available every where so how is it uniform, and fair . It changes whole DRS once hot spot is eliminated. Is ICC making DRS the same for every test match played in all countries.
The Outsider Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 ^ ICC is run by clowns. I think uniform technology or no technology at all should be used for every test. It would have been fine with just bilateral series to have different rules, but with the rankings in place and more importantly the test championship, there should be a uniform system.

It was conceived mainly by England only after their recent test team's renaissance to show somehow they are great in preserving main form of cricket. If their team was as putrid as it was in 90s they would not even dare to venture that crap. To make it a valid thing either all test teams have to play in it or every team should play each other home and away the same number of tests with same rules in the same period and I doubt it will happen. Another point is will that test championship take away importance of bilateral test series.
kubrickian Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 England pretend BCCI is bullying ICC but matter of fact is they always have their demands met by ICC without any debate. The real problem is England want to be the masters of cricket and control the game as they have done in the past and cant stand India's power in cricket, so they just resort to lot of whining and blackmailing and act as if they are victims.
