sachin was pro hot spot IMO I remember that 2008 series v SL. No doubt we used DRS poorly. But some of the path prediction of the ball was just poor. What the DRS lobby should have done is tried it out at Zim-Bang etc before trying it out for India.

Hotspot has been shown to very good at showing inside edges on lbw decisions, to get rid of it just because its not 100% doesnt make an ounce of sense when the alternative is far less accurate. All weve learnt is that hotspot doesnt always show faint edges but as a say the umpires eye used to miss huge inside edges on lbs decisions.
You dont need hotspot to see inside edges, most of them.

Agar yeh faint edges detect nahin karta, to kya ghanta useful hain..... thick edge to Boycott ki nani ko bhi dikhta hain:giggle::giggle:
