More than getting back into the Indian side, what this does do is it highlights to the counties the value of Indian players. With both chawla and gg doing well this week it may herald the arrival of many more Indian players like Zaheer for eg in the future.

As i said before 30 is too late to ensure that your flaws are totally worked upon. The best IMO he should do is be ultra defensive v the quicks and curb his poking insticts and get himself in such a run that his form works in his favour. Essex are heading for a draw and IMO their promotion hopes are gone as Northants have won increasing the margin between the two teams. Get a feeling that GG might be playing 2-3 dead rubber games to come. Might as well cash in on those.
