CG Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Will be on his first tour to SA, so I will keep my expectations in check. But with him around, I wouldn't mind seeing green pitches in SA. And for those writing Umesh off, don't judge his test bowling based on how he's doing in ODIs. Was awesome vs England in the last test he played and his injury was the reason we lost the series. Yes it was the turning point of the series.
Trichromatic Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Yes it was the turning point of the series. He was also able to reverse the ball during England series. It's good that he has been learning so quickly. It takes Indian bowlers years to learn. He needs to be more consistent though. I expect both Bhuvi and Umesh to give each other tough competition in SA.
jusarrived Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I like both . Our attack is capable of getting SA out for low scores consistently...
