Now there is this new kid called Mohit Sharma I think whose been coached by Ian Pont himself and highly spoken of by him but I guess I ll really believe when I c it. Also somehow the speed guns in domestic cricket seem to clock many of the Indian pacers at arnd 140 but at intl level they almost always ar a few clicks less. Wonder what the story behind that is. Ishwar Pandey is att least 6 ' 3 but bowls 130 +. He after his recent South Afraic A tour was saying the big diofference he noted in quality of fast bowling from back home to intl standard. I dont know what the NCA n Mrf academcy do with all the money time and facilties they got. Btw Varun aaron just recently started bowling again after his injury, I am hoping he is in squad for SA tour. Did u know that he clocked arnd 150 in domestic cricket but showed as arnd 140 in ODIs. Thats why I am skeptical.

Mohit Sharma was never touted to be quick by Pont, some did say he bowl around 140 but that is it, not really quick. His strength has always been accuracy and seam.
