if tendulkar, dravid, gang, yuvi, dhoni combo were not able to play out well against the aussies, don't expect the other waiitng youngsters to do so either.. this current line up is still good.. its just one game.. they are far better then any other Indian players... lets stop the talk of blooding all youngsters in the team.. Lee was on fire.... i seriouzly feel if dravid, tendulkar and all weren't able to bat out the innings.. youngsters won't have been able too.. they would have struggled too.. i mean come on.. if u blood in all, gambhir, rohit sharma, rao, etc ppl.. still this current line is far better to face the aussie attack then the youngsters.. lets just not over react on this one sided game.. and continue with seniors..

Patience was needed on this track and Ganguly got run-out unfortunately or he'd have relished batting here. Australian bowlers bowled with a plan, and Lee bowled an absolutely cracking outswinger in the 26th over to get rid of Sachin. Rahul, I suppose was unfairly given out, as there was an inside edge. Uthappa is a sitting duck with that flawed technique and Dhoni's dismissal was more due to Gilchrist's spectacular dive. So give credit where it is due. We should simply forget this match and prepare for the next.

Ability is not the problem, current team is good enough, if not to win more game against aussies but should give a good fight in every game specially when we are at home. The problem is how we surrendered in the 3 games we lost. Yes. This has been the most disappointing part. Its as clear as daylight that we are nowhere near the Aussies as a team. But at least we could have shown fight. We could have resisted while going down. We shouldn't have left things so easy for the Aussies. At least even brilliant individual performance in each match could have done the trick. But apart from that one brilliant century from Yuvi, we haven't witnessed that either.

Fair enough Cricketics. Much as I respect your opinion I also have no qualms in accepting that I personally see no difference between a Star studded Indian score of 148 vis a vis that of a young team with 100 runs or so. I dont quite think any Indian fan assumes that the young brigade would be world champion from day 1. When the Star Studded Indian team is ranked 5th(or 6th) in LOI it is only fair to assume a young Indian team shall start with a lower ranking. JF has summed it very well with - what you see are 11 players waiting for this series to get over. xxx

you got to learn from aussies....we had four quick wickets in two games but still conceded 300 runs.. Today SRT and Pathan got into a partnership..and Ponting brought back Lee to get one more wicket and thats precisely what he did.. ODI wins are based on key moments...and that was key moment...and aussies grabbed it.. There are bound to be off day and today was real bad day in the office... india needs to drop Zaheer and bhajji and bring back Sreesanth and Rohit Sharma or Karthik.
