Unadkat is malnourished, weak and pathetic. Keep this 76mph bowler away from India Team!

RKT in the last domestic season he had 16 wickets@31.5, played 4 matches missed 5-6 of them. Has had a recurring knee problem. That is why they don't even pick him for North Zone side given his frequent injury breakdowns. IIRC the then Delhi Coach had advised him against getting into IPL given his fitness problem. I guess people in the system know a biut about such issues and hence he's not being accelerated into the A side yet. We may continue to abuse them for being obsessed with trundlers but history of injuries by our 85 mph+ bowlers (Aaron, Umesh, VRV & Tyagi previously) etc has made them cautious which isn't bad imo.

How odd when he made his test debut in 2010 in SA from now were as a skinny little kid. Some thing to be proud of I suppose!!!! Strange and bizzare pick that was. Seems this guy has rigt connections as that pick was one of worst in Indian history and most bizzare. That weird pick was never scrutinised or looked in to closley enough as it stunk of something dodgy

its hardly connections dude. Unadkat had a good ipl season, he has a good ranji season for Saurashtra. Prior to this series he was best bowler for India v Zimbabwe Not everybody gets in via connections. Come on dude everything is a conspiracy theory with you. Yes we are disappointed with his pace. But i think your going a bit too far. He bowled one ball at 76 which was a slower ball. Most of this balls where in the 127-129 region. Which is 80mph.

Unadkunt is not even a trundler. IMO trundler is 79 to 82 zone. What do you call 76 mph bowler? And yes he bowled loads at 76mph, not just one

Nope most at under 80mph How do you explain insane test debut in 2010? On merit:giggle:

The question is how did he get to represent India, same with Vinnay??? Seem like right connections and string spulled is the reason. If thats something to be proud of then so be it. With cricket eye he looks awful and even his stats in FC are poor. On what basis was he picked?? Bonkers and insane pick
He's playing ODIs. Look at his LO record, 42 matches 65 wickets@27, not bad. Picked a 5-er playing for India A vs WI A before the squad was named. Also did very well in the Zim ODIs. 5 matches, 8 wickets@17 As for poor FC record, plays most of his FC games at Rajkot, that alone should give him a -5 (or perhaps more) advantage for his bowling average lol

Injuries happen to pacers all the time. It does not mean you stop picking them when they are fit. When they are injured, they are eventually out, but at least pick them when they are not. Delhi coach's advise was poor. Let him play when he is fit. Bowling 4 overs in IPL is not going to cause him a problem. Problem might be bowling 20-25 overs a day in a 4-day match which they did on patta Kotla pitch, but if one can bowl 10 overs of one day match then play him one day or T20. It is simple. Bowlers like batsmen too can be separated for different formats.

13 wickets in match for India A vs WI A in England. That after being very impressive in U-19 WC, touching 140 kph. But guessyou wouldn't have watched or red about all that :--D

Bloody hell. People want unadkat in the team and rate him Long live 78 mph bowlers in Indian team. Dont know why we bother even picking seamers. Go back to the days when India opened bowling with dada and sunny!

Like I said could not care less what stats are used. Watch him bowl!!! If you think that is good enough then god help us and we deserve the trundlers we have!! While England took 6ft plus, 85 mph plus bowlers on ashes squad, we perserve with out litttle trundlers cos they are accurate and have some cute FC stats(his stats even in FC are very mediocre). Jeez we deserve losers like unadkunt and Vinnay kumar

Not with someone like Suyal who keeps breaking down every 2 months and has a history of poor fitness right from the beginning.

Read the post against, U-19 WC 140 kph, matches shown live on Start Cricket not some IPL speedgun

and to be frank Bhuvi was bowling at the same pace as Unadkat in this series. 125-130 so why no thread on Bhuvi? Atleast unadkat has the height

Read the post against' date=' U-19 WC 140 kph, matches shown live on Start Cricket not some IPL speedgun[/quote'] So why was he bowling 76 to 78 mph. Soory evidence is right there. Bowled in last match at pathetic speed and he as running in and trying his best. HE JUST PLAYED A MATCH FOR INDIA WITH PATHETIC SPEED AT 76MPH. Evidence is there, not some alleged games previous. Also watched 2010 test debut when bowled also at 76 to 78. Thats his speed!! On zmb tour we have no idea what speed bowled as NO speed guns.

I continue to talk to Pawan Suyal. I asked him and he said he was fit last year, no injury, but only played 4 matches because Nehra who picks and chooses matches played other matches. Today, I read an article that Nehra averaged 50 plus last season and he is in the team this year too and has already said that he will not play 2 matches in a row. Pawan said he had that knee injury when a ball hit it and had surgery in England and has no issue with it now. Last year, along with Ranji trophy, he also played 2 matches of U25, bowled 60 overs picked up 13 wickets at 16.

Well Bk was around 79 to 81, slightly quicker:giggle: But BK who I quite like moves the ball both ways sharply, can have one tundler in attack if moves it both ways, plus need one to maintain trundler culture and keep traditionalists happy. Lets be honest about BK as well. He is effective in first 16 overs, were ball is new and can get swing and seam. However, once that ball gets older and movement stops(no evidence he can reverse it yet), he really is just up and down and causes no isses for a batsman. This is major worry for BK particularly in tests. As bowling 78 mph , which is just up and down in tests is going to do nothing

yes, he touched 139kmp in an u-19 game. Everyone thought he is gonna be the next big thing , but he slowed down when he played for kkr and wasn't the same bowler after that. His bowling action seems to changing every time whenever I have seen him. I have read an interview in which he said he didn't know whom to look up to when he was bowling badly. That's the current situation now. We don't have coaches who can help these youngsters when they are struggling...

Wasim Akram ki advice ke side effects. Same happened with Irfan. I think he changed his wrist and grip after Akram's advice. It is not necessary that advices work every time. Be what you are.
