If I were to choose his best innings they would be : Tests : The 80 odd he made at Mohali in the '04 series. Looked unstoppable and thrashed the daylights out of our bowlers. ODIs : The 122 at Karachi(?) chasing 350 was sublime batting.

Overall a very good career! Could have been better but still a very fine career and would probably go down as PAK's 2nd greatest batsman ever.

Inzi over Javed anyday MP .... faar better player and never enjoyed any special favours from umpires ... It was such a shame that he couldnt end up as the top scorer.

About 50% of the runs and an average of 46 away from home doesn't suggest that but anyways thats a debate for some other day.

though its pretty comman to say, but have to say "Thanks for the memories" he was a special talent.. and would be missed.. i really enjoyed the way he gave his speach in urdu.. he expressed his emotions a lot while speaking in urdu.. did the rite thing by telling robin jackman that he would like to speak in his own lang.
