Indian banks dont issue credit cards for every person like the western banks do.. You will be billed the amount from your credit card when you buy the plan and the 2599/- or 2999/- is what you will get in your monthly bill to the creditcard company. Reliance is not giving you the phone for 2599/- but your credit card company is giving you the phone for 2599/- per months. ....So sorry to burst your scoot bubble, guess you will need to apply for a credit card immediately

I merely pointed out that they do not make it expensive to Indian markets on purpose. It is the forex rate plus excise duty on imported electronic items which make them expensive.

Is 4G available already?? Does the Xperia Z support it? Isn't a major spectrum scam a precursor to launching of any such new telecom service? Never heard of a 4G scam yet.
