RPS, Sree, Munaf, Ishant all bowled 140+ in 2006-08. Munaf Speeds of Sree and Ishant 2w-RaJjumLo Munaf YXOOrpj428k RPS was 140+ in ODIs vs Aus in 2007 but can't find videos.

One or two fast spells don't define ur ave pace, Aaron, Umesh, Shukla, Shami, are quicker, each of them can start the spell at 140 and also the last ball can be bowled at same pace, Sreesanth used to ave about 136 k in a test, Irfan 133 k, RP 134 k, Munaf about 136 k, Umesh , Aaron, SHAMI, Suyal are on ave 5 to 10 k quicker then those guys who were all f/m, not fast by any stretch, Aaron, Umesh, Suyal, Shukla are fast bowlers, Shami is also quicker then Munaf, Sreesanth, RP BY A AVE 5 K IN TEST ATLEAST.

Ishant is young, let him rediscover himself now he can see what a good bowler like Shami can do let him work hard and get back to his best, he was trying to play it safe not trying too hard and using the excuse of being a stock bowler in test and odi which is bullshit , Akash had spoken about it in a article how Ishant has chosen to cut down on pace and be a stock bowler , its all in his mind, now that he has serious competition let us see what he is made off.

The thing with umesh' date='Aaron,shami,Suyal is they are all strong lads,they are power bowler they are not rhythm bowler like pissu.[/quote'] Aaron is the only one who is a power bowler, Shami is a rhythm bowler, who uses his quick arm, wrist and easy action to get pace , swing, bounce and surprisingly so for a slender physique, Suyal has a good run up abd strong action, Umesh same thing is athletic unlike most Indian bowlers of past, Shukla is a bit like Aaron but has good Flintoff kinda action. Shami , Suyal, have excellent action and Aaron, Shukla ARE NOT TOO BAD EITHER, Umesh seems to have worked a bit on his action but has to work a bit more as when he gets it right he is great but he struggles sometimes and it is because of his action, Pandey , Kaul also along with Pankaj who has worked on his bowling now have a good action and have added a bit of pace in a year.

Shami is not a power bowler by any stretch, he has a very efficient action and good rhythm, if you have played cricket you will know it is a very hard thing to bowl at 125 for an ave cricketer alone forget about 130 plus, you have to have the talent and body to do that, a power bowler is different because he uses his body strength and shoulders more then rhythm and run up, Flintoff, Johnson, De Langa, AARON, Shukla, Watto, Kallis. Shami, Umesh, Ishant are not power bowlers by any stretch, in the present WI squad Cotterell was another example who used his strength to hurtle ball at high speed, Tino comparativel Fidel uses his action which is slingy and rhythm and runup.

Well most of the Indian first class bowlers at these speeds or perhaps a touch quicker,agree with ishant being a rhythm bowler,but umesh and shami both are power bowlers,coz they have strong body,they maintain high speeds without much effort,other thing is that strong body ,in particular strong shoulders and back ,helps them to get the extra zip from pitch,also their action helps them to bowl fuller which means they will always have high chances of getting wickets,you are mixing muscular body with strong body,although umesh is muscular.

See Shami is very similar to Sreesanth and both are rhythm bowlers but have good wrist and fast arm, Shami has a more stable action and his action allows him to get more nip he is not a power bowler, similar to those two Pakistans Mohd Sami not a power bowler but had pace owing to action , rhythm, quick arm. Umesh is athletic and has a good runup and action uses his body and action to generate pace , Aaron, Shukla are the only two you can say have a power action as they have a shorter runup or don't use their runup too well but use the strength in their body to bowl a heavy ball like Watto, Kallis.

Sane bhai an avg speed of 84-85 mph and top speed of 90 mph is pretty good,have heard he swings the ball both ways, he is a bit tall,so it's good.
