rainy day Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Actually Misbah has been nominated for ODI player of year but strangely omitted from ODI team of the year. And again Kohli averages 40 in that time period compared to the ones included who average 50+ and in Dilshan's case 71 ! A breakdown of Kohli's stats will further indicate that there was NO WAY he could have been included averaging 98.5 in 5 ODIs vs Zimbabwewhile averaging 32.8 vs Pak/SL/SA/Eng/WI in 18 ODIs.

For that period purely based on stats he won't qualify. But considering he is world no.1 batsman at this point (even that point he was world no.3 i think) people would be surprised at his exclusion.
vvvslaxman Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 since 11/12/2011 Kohli has never left top 3 ranking from ICC ranking. That is 2 years in a row
CommonMan Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 ICC is dominated by those fricking evil Anglo Saxons. Who gives a shaite about that list.
sscomp32 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Just saw this in Cricinfo. :hysterical: Kohli's Expressions.
