History does not lie , history says Imran fricking Khan was very ordinary cricketer for almost decade who somehow magically ends up with great stats. We all know he got help from coke bottle tops and home cooked umpires but we don't know else was going on.Sure if he was naturally gifted and talented he would not take nearly a decade to show it. Thats why I always laugh when Pakistanis say he was greatest all rounder of 1980s. Ian botham hit 6 hundreds @37 and 151 wickets under 20 in 29 tests. That is real talent and real all rounder who cares what stats he ended up with all he had was poor finish to his career.

You haven't addressed any of the points I've made. Instead you have just blurted out 4 lines of drivel. Why would Pakistanis be jealous of Tendulkar? His records are awesome, but doesn't mean people are jealous. Heck if being jealous was a thing, then I'm sure they'd be jealous of Bradman, someone who's stats dwarf any other cricket player's. You said outside of Sharjah India own Pakistan, when the stats prove otherwise. We are discussing different things at the end of the day. The bottomline is, Indians love Tendulkar and won't stand for anyone saying anything but praise of him. Clearly then, it's best if your blood boils at such threads, not to get involved in them? It reminds of that guy a couple of years ago who wrote, Tendulkar has never scored a 100 at Lords. He's never scored a 100 in a world cup final. He's never scored a 100 against India, so it begs the questions, has Tendulkar scored a 100 anywhere? Many Indian fans saw the funny side, but many others so stupid, didn't see the humour.
Jealous because Pakistan can never produce a caliber player like Tendulkar oh yes they will never be jealous of him thats why every tom dick harry from pakistan keep bringing sachin,s name yes Indians share special relationship with Sachin may be your ex cricketers shud think before they blabber crap about Sachin.Sachin did scored 100 at lords for princess diana match for rest of the world Sachin has more runs in world cups than any other player Sachin took India to three world cup finals yes India owns Pakistan in big games that means out of Pakistan like world cups and other major trophies.

To me Imran and Hadlee were always bowlers who could bat, Imran to his credit became a little better batsman in Ravi Shastri mold later in his career but by then he was not bowler

Just look at the stats Imran Bat: 37.7 Bowl: 22.8 Kapil Bat 31 Bowl 29.6 Botham Bat 33.6 Bowl: 28.4 Hadlee Bat 27.2 Bowl 22.3 There is a clear winner overall there, Imran is way out in front with the bat and only just behind Hadlee with ball. I mean the stats aren't even close. But each to their own.

So me where he played like Kapil 175
thats why I never rate Imran as an all rounder, Stuart broad does not become an all rounder just because he hit 1 hundred and some test 50s. Broad is always a bowler who could bat a bit which Imran Khan was in his career.

So Imran Khan, statiscally the best all-rounder of the 4 great 80s all rounders, is not an allrounder? That is because his highest score is not the highest? Using the same criteria Sachin is inferior to AB De Villiers, Amla, Inzamam, Mark Taylor, Gooch, Sehwag etc etc, all guys with higher test scores. I mean you don't rate Imran as an all-rounder for that reason, so for the same reason maybe you shouldn't rate Tendulkar as a batsman because his highest score is a paltry 248*. Just read some of the filth you're typing away, do you actually believe the crap you type up?

Dont talk crap, having highest score is not the only indication of greatness it is one of the indicators. yes the players you mentioned did score higher scores than Sachin and Sehwag has scored 2 triple hundreds which Sachin never has, it shows sachin never scored 300. All the players you mentioned did not talk a decade to establish themselves. I have already proved how mediocre Imran Khan was for almost decade and all sudden he ends with great stats based predominantly based on his home stats which are dubious at best with all the ball tampering and biased umpiring issues. No great player has taken a decade to establish themselves which Imran took and god only knows what else he did do to get those stats. So how can any one say those stats are strictly due to his talent alone..

You have proven nothing of the sort. All you've done is make a clown of yourself. So it took Imran a decade to go from average to a great, what does it mean? It means he went away worked unbelievably hard at it, just listening to old interviews from Botham, Jon Snow, Gower etc tell you the man worked hard, made his game strong and became a beast.

Chill the feck out guys!!! :giggle: Gavaskar was a great batsman. Sachin is a greater batsman and would have negotiated the WI quicks adequately if he played them enough. I am a Gavaskar bhakt and I endorse this message!

I am just stating the facts and you are getting fricking worked up. Facts state that Imran was mediocre cricketer for best part of a decade, no one who is mediocre for that long is called great and that is also a fact.

^^^ great link Indeed, the most startling admission so far released concerns a county match between Sussex and Hampshire in 1991. 'The ball was not deviating at all,' Imran is quoted as saying. 'So I got the 12th man to bring on a bottle top and it started to move around a lot. I occasionally scratched the side (of the ball) and lifted the seam. Now we have to believe that this gentleman Imran Khan and the fact that he only used coke bottle tops in county cricket but not in home tests with home umpires who are there only to protect one team's interests that too on flat beds. This is like Alex Rodriguez who confessed that he took steroids only for three years in 2009.Only to be proven a total liar and as a guy who has been cheating all thru his life.

What elite players are you talking about, He never was a batsmen when he was a bowler and when he was a bowler he was tail ender with bat. If Imran fricking Khan is elite is Sachin some chop lever. If Imran fricking Khan is termed Elite then forget Sachin Who is ( greatest of all time) Sehwag is more than elite.does any fricking pakistani batsmen averages 50 in test cricket with strike rate over 80. Show me one fricking batsmen in history of cricket who has stats of Sehwag since you are so big on stats of fricking Imran elite Khan.
Yeah, I'll take your lovely opinion over the likes of Sir Richard Hadlee who said Imran was the best all rounder of his era. I'm sure you know more than Hadlee, the w*nker that he is.

Are you suggesting that only Pakistani bowlers ball tampered in that era? Must be nice to be so blissfully naive. I've seen pictures of Manoj Prabhakar taking his chompers to the ball. Dravid and Tendulkar have also had their brushes with controversy.
