Marut Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Vijay is damn good as an opener here. His average of 42 at the top of the batting order actually carries extra value for the team. One of the reasons we have been losing too many matches is due to a relatively weak opening after the fall of Sehwag and Gambhir. Vijay and Dhawan have an average opening partnership of just 25 away from home and when we fix this, we will have a very strong batting team that can at least draw a lot of matches away from home.
