People chnage opinions like chaddis here. Rahane or virat havent changed much , their technique has been the same since the first time I saw these guys bat..overseas it comes down to adaptability , thats a talent like any other. Its the same with Rohit too , hehas everything to suceed overseas ....but can he make those small adjustments llike Virat and Rahane is solely up to him.

He can turn it around. He has enough chances now like he had in ODIs. He can turn it around in a matter of one series if he adjusts his technique. I never hoped that Rahane would do well. But he was absolutely brilliant getting behind Steyn's every delivery during his fiery spell. ROhit looked little unsettled against Steyn.

He was playing really well yesterday even against Steyn and Morkel before getting a big in cutter which hit the crack like Pujara.

These generic statements of attributing what X said to Y are annoying. Be specific when making such comments, not that because X discredited a player and Y credited him it's a change of statement.

Rohit's issue is premeditating. To compensate for lack of footwork, he sometimes, starts planting his foot out across and that's where he becomes a big LBW candidate. Another important thing for him is watching the ball closely till the end.

I think Rohit's problem is his front foot stride. There is no middle ground there for him. He either plonks it or there is minimal movement. When he starts the innings, he has that short to no stride and as he gains in confidence his trigger movement changes to a stride across to the front foot. I guess he needs to sort this out and definitely watching the ball closely onto the bat also could make him more consistent.

How can he get credit for this ? Pujara was great from start and Kohli gradually improved while rahane scored runs in a tour of South Africa and in ranjit too on green tracks where everyone else failed Problem is with fans who called rah and flop after watching in Odis and one test :finger:
