NDA needs to get the majority on its own else it will be forever held hostage by the 'federal/third front' party which helps it to get the majority... Very tough days ahead...
its make or break time for bjp, give it ur all.most positive things are tilted towards u,have to sweep some states and get minimum 65 seats from UP,bihar in order to get to 200+,AAP might snatch 10-12 crucial seats from bjp in delhi, haryana etc so they have to fill in those seats from other states.. its imperative they get 200+ and NDA gets at least 225 in order to form a stable govn

Cong 2nd list out. Raj Babbar from Ghaziabad. So I guess Rajnath Singh, who till now was afraid only of AAP in Ghaziabad, will most certainly run away from Ghaziabad to Lucknow :( Rita Bahuguna Joshi is again the candidate from Lucknow (she was the candidate in 2009 as well.)

before accepting people in the party Kejriwal should at least check whether they support him or the other side

Not supporting him. RT @nation1st: @GulPanag Kudos for your support for NaMo. I have started following you for that.

@himanshurichie @ScrollsNInk no back track. I don't support NaMo out of choice. But out of frustration. And lack of an alternative .
https://twitter.com/GulPanag/status/208456451851689984 Btw, people are allowed to change opinions and for allegiances at will. The 'apolitical' Kiran Bedi and VK Singh are prime examples of that.

so finally ndtv gonna conduct their opinion poll show today :winky: i guess they'll shw bjp getting 160 odd, cong getting 150 odd seats, would be fun to watch
They have only aired half the states so far. Karnataka, TN, WB, Raj, Delhi, Haryana, MH, MP, Chhattisgarh, Guj, Jharkhand and Bihar with 319 total seats, they are projecting 146 for BJP (166 NDA) and 40 for Cong (52 UPA) and rest for others. The remaining states will be aired tomorrow. There are Punjab, HP, Goa, AP, Kerala, UP, Orrisa, UK and NE states and UTs. So if there is BJP wave in HP, UK and Punj then they may get up to 4, 5, and 10 seats respectively in these 3 states. If UP offers them 40 and other states 5, like Orrisa, AP, Goa etc. Then even NDTV's projection for NDA will go upto 230 seats. Is this for real? I think with this there will be couple of more parties aligning with NDA now. Especially TDP. If BJD, TMC or AIADMK joins then it will be NDA for sure. :hatsoff: I hope it works this way in the final results.

yeah saw the show.surprisingly they have overestimated the bjp-nda seats in few states like maha,ch'garh etc ..as u mentioned out of the remaining states NDA will procure close to 60 seats to get the total to 230+..an alliance with TDP is on the cards and that might take them over 20+ which will make sure that NDA will defo form the govn with just another ally required.. of course these are just estimations

ysurprisingly they have overestimated the bjp-nda seats in few states like maha' date='ch'garh etc ..[/quote'] Yes, I feel Maharashtra and Chhatisgarh numbers looked a bit too optimistic from BJP point of view. It will be a herculean task to achieve those.

TDP seals tie-up with BJP: Times of India
HYDERABAD: The seat sharing alliance between the BJP and TDP has been finalised and an official announcement is expected early next week. According to sources privy to the development, the BJP will contest 8 of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana and 4-5 of the 25 Parliamentary seats in Seemandhra. The TDP will contest from the remaining seats. For the assembly, the TDP is to give the right-wing party 15 of the 175 seats in Seemandhra and 25 of the 119 seats in Telangana. The seat sharing has been finalised and all that is left is to identify the seats from where the BJP will put up its nominees, TDP sources claimed. TDP president Chandrababu Naidu wants to become the convenor of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), but the BJP is yet to take a final call on it, they added. The sources claimed that the announcement on the alliance will be made in Delhi by senior BJP leaders in the presence of Naidu next week. After the official announcement , a public meeting will be held in Seemandhra later this month where BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and Naidu will share the dais with the slogan 'Modi for PM, Naidu for CM.' "The date for the public meeting has not yet been finalised , but it will definitely take place this month," TDP Rajya Sabha member CM Ramesh told TOI. Naidu and Modi shared the dais at a youth mela for the first time in Delhi on October 2 last year leading to speculations about the alliance. The TDP chief was to address a meeting in Krishna district on March 17 as part of his Praja Garjana programme , but in view of the alliance with BJP, decided to drop it so that the focus can be on the Modi-Naidu meeting. It is expected that Modi will make promises for the development of Seemandhra in that meeting
While AAP is doing its usual nonsense, some parties are doing some actual work.
