Still we will keep the same non performing bowlers in the side.it is time to look for fresh faces.Time to give Ishwar a chance and include Pankaj Singh in next ODI series. Bhuvi and Varun have to be dropped. Only Shami looks like a wicket taker capable of picking 4 wickets even though he is tonked as much as Bhuvi and Varun. They are feasting on such wayward bowling.

U cannot keep changing bowlers every match.Give them 10 odis then see.

He bowled fuller last match and captain said if you bowl 145' date=' you need to bowl 2 bouncers at least per over and there he bowled some poor deliveries in an attempt to bowl bouncers. I do not think Indian pacers are really used to bowl bouncers because of slow and low pitches in India and they wont start bowling good bouncers suddenly if captain asks ask them to.[/quote'] Yaar bowling bouncers doesn't mean bowling short and wide regularly and not attacking the stumps at all. Also, lack of reverse swing will hurt him, that was his biggest weapon when he played ODIs earlier.

You have to drop someone otherwise they get over confident and bowl more rubbish. At least let them know they are specialist bowlers and they cannot pick just 1 wicket every match.Shami has to be retained.he at least has taken 7 or more wickets. They certainly have to drop 1 pace bowler and have a look at Ishwar.I don't care whether they drop Bhuvi or Varun, but one of those non performers have to go.

yaar, if you are not used to bowling bouncers, you are going against your style and in doing that you can lose your shape and then it is natural that you might bowl some poor short deliveries either down leg or outside off.

I am a Pakistani but i watch almost every game of India. It really amazes me how Dhoni treats his fast bowlers. He barely shows any confidence in Aaron, takes him off only to bring a part timer. You would expect a nation where fast bowlers are a rarity that he would give Aaron/Yadav more games and build their confidence. Also, if the likes of Aaron/Yadav bowl one bad ball Dhoni shows attitude where as Ashwin and his beloved part timers (Raina/Kohli) bowl badly he barely shows any reaction. Being a fast bowler myself i know how hard it is to settle down if your captain keeps on taking you out of the attack after 2-3 overs. I remember another game where Dhoni took off Yadav just after 2 overs this often results in disrupting line and length of the bowler and denting the confidence of an inexperienced young lad.

Why to rest our highest wicket taker in the series when the team need to win the last match fro pride of being No 1 and getting almost whitewashed against 8th rank team.
because its lost series and shami will be no1 bowler in tests.

This is the stupid mentality that's prevalent here. Ask x,y, z to be dropped and then when they are replaced, ask their replacements to be dropped. Rinse and repeat. When you select someone, he needs to be backed and given more chances to prove himself. Just chopping and changing a new bowler every few games will wreck the confidence of the player and also the players coming in because they know one bad performance will get them sacked.

SO keep selecting Ishant type bowlers every match :hysterical: I thought to play Ishant and Nehra type bowlers was more stupid idea. This is international team and we are very often number 1 ranked team.Just to give someone confidence we cannot give them a chance in this team.Tough decisions have to be taken to be ruthless .

Huh ? You said B K and Varun have to be dropped. They have to be given lot more chances. B Kumar has done well in this series actually but he needs to make some adjustments. Too early to write off Varun. He has got the pace but his line and length went awry after 4 overs which can happen to a bowler making his comeback as he will be nervous. When Ishwar or Pankaj get selected and they go for a few runs in a game, you will be here asking them to be dropped once again. This constant chopping and changing is utter stupidity.

You select young bowlers like BK, Aaron, Shami instead of Zak, Nehra, Munna because you see they have talent and potential. LOI cricket these days is really harsh on bowlers, especially, young inexperienced bowlers, so you need to give them time. We do not have any better bowlers sitting out. They are picked because they are the best in younger generation. You are not going to get a ready made bowler. You will have to develop them in international cricket.
