We never won much even before that. We won 1 test series in top 3 overseas countries last decade. Our ranking was always built on home wins, not because we were winning overseas and I always knew that it was just a false dawn.

Now suddenly we can't go down too soon. England themselves are in shambles right now and Aussies are no. 2.
