head coach Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Sharad Pawar - BCCI President Vengsarkar - Chief Selector Ravi Shastri and Gavaskar - Coach Selectors And now we are going to see Sachin Tendulkar as India's Test captain What is next Praveen Amre as India's Head Coach? All Mumbai men calling the shots in Indian Cricket Dhoni is the odd man out!
yoda Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 They did control it before the 90s. Now it is back. Expect players from the southern half of the country to get shafted as much as possible.
head coach Posted October 29, 2007 Author Posted October 29, 2007 If Ravi Shastri is to be believed they are going to get an Indian as Head Coach it could well be Pravin Amre or Chandrakanth Pandit both from Maharashtra
Holysmoke Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 If Ravi Shastri is to be believed they are going to get an Indian as Head Coach it could well be Pravin Amre or Chandrakanth Pandit both from Maharashtra Isnt the current manager (Rajput) from maharashtra?
Tapioca Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Isnt the current manager (Rajput) from maharashtra? He played Ranji for Mumbai Looks like Aggy is due for another comeback.
Ram Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Dont care who comes from where , as long as the team does well.
coffee_rules Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Will see ROhit Sharma getting a nod over Tiwary, Raina etc.
Lurker Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Sharad Pawar - BCCI President Vengsarkar - Chief Selector Ravi Shastri and Gavaskar - Coach Selectors And now we are going to see Sachin Tendulkar as India's Test captain What is next Praveen Amre as India's Head Coach? All Mumbai men calling the shots in Indian Cricket Dhoni is the odd man out! They might be controlling Indian cricket but where are Mumbai prodigees? In recent times Indian team has often been fielded without any Mumbai player, specially when SRT was injured. In many ways Mumbai cricket survives today on legacy. The young breed coming out is mostly from the interior. Just look at the crux of Indian team today - Sreesanth, RP Singh, Zaheer, Munaf, Dhoni, Yuvraj, Chawla, Tiwary, Uthappa etc. But for Rohit Sharma there are no promising Mumbai youngsters. Maybe Mumbai power block should start looking into that. xxx
gs Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Heck, I dont care which lobby controls Indian cricket as long as they win!
DesiChap Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 India winning is the only thing that matters rest all is talk and bullcrap
apocalypse Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Most news channels are saying that Dravid had tussle with Vengsarker... Thats the reason he is sitting out...
PaiN_KiLLeR Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Kick that SOB agriculuture minister out of the BCCI
Chaos Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Most news channels are saying that Dravid had tussle with Vengsarker... Thats the reason he is sitting out... that idiot vengy should go to his jewelery shop. First he needs to wear a saree, then put on ear studs, nose stud, jewelary. He is a perfect woman.
jf1gp_1 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 India winning is the only thing that matters rest all is talk and bullcrap Why are you all so blind. Yes Indian win is important but in a fractured and corrupt system India will never win consistently. I have no problem with India fielding a Mumbai XI or every selector being from TN as long as we know they are the best ppl to represent Indian cricket and unfortunately we are no where close to achieving that kind of a system. Every disaster is forgiven the min we get a hollow win. Noone wanted to touch 20/20 in India, one win and entry of ICL now 20/20 is real cricket.
yoda Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Most news channels are saying that Dravid had tussle with Vengsarker... Thats the reason he is sitting out... Sitting out? More like being sat out...

Also look for more matches and finals at Mumbai. As someone said Agarkar might make his way back into Test side once Tendulkar is made the captain!
dial_100 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 I would rather word it as being thrown out. If they do it one more time to another Hero, they lose one ICF. I already hate the whole of BCCI leaders. especially SP is too much to bare. I would rather have some EX cricketer to lead BCCI.
