Also since you seem to be doccumenting my biography on ICF :haha: go back and check my posts pre-IPL I have backed,appreciated,ridiculed the same players and felt some players were overrated andI have been consistent. The only guy who made me eat my words is Rahane as I thought he will fail in overseas test conditions.

Problem is you are the one being effected by popular argument Ur entire argument in favor of vinay is that people have been wrong about others so they must be wrong about vinay ..you are the one basing judgement because of what people think rather than how player performs in international In short ur supporting him because he is hated and not because he is good ..consistent with rest of players u support like rohit,ishant,bopara or any other crap over hyped lucky loser

Saved India from an innings defeat Also he needs to bat at 6....still finding feet at No 5.....Would have shielded Jaddu and Dhoni better....Usually when you see a talent like Rohit it is intimidating for the tail and they play with more maturity. Way to miss the entire point :clap: I seem to have a lot of time on my hands today and since I also seem to have a lot of patience let me explain....again it's not personal it's not your comprehension,may be just the way I am putting it for you Go back and read my posts... 1.Did I ever I mean ever say Vinay needs to be brought back? NO 2.Was he always a good performer in domestics?Yes 3Was he deservingly Dropped?Yes 4.Does that usually deject a player especially after that performance?Yes 5.In addition to bowling was he also made the captain of his team after getting dropped?Yes 6.What was his bowling like along with captaincy success rate?Incredible...Ranji Champions as well 7.Now combine 4,5 and 6 you get the answer why I was impressed with him. 8.Do I personally feel he deserves another shot-No 9.Would I feel surprised if the selectors selected him?-NO Hope that breaks it down to you.....Now let us leave it to this topic. How my trolling or lack of it has had a personal impact on you we can discuss some other time :--D

Why are u even talking about others ? My stand about dhoni is pretty clear..he is just average captain mainly cos of selections he makes and composition of teams he selects otherwise one of the best cricketers india produced . About rambling about other players by other people ...why are u telling me this ? Vinay kumar is still crap even if people were wrong about jadeja that does not mean they are wrong about vinay One is youngster other is not One performed during second chance while other did not ... Heck it's not even same thing...vinay has consistently looked mediocre atleast some one like ishant shows some glimpses of brilliance but with vinay u cannot even remember good performance in international level other than 4 wicket haul against England Also pleae share what u actually think about ishant ? No I am not...I seriously backed Ishant even after Fualkner's assault as we seem to ignore all the bashing the Aussie bowlers got in the series as well and I thought he was done and dusted after the 2nd test in S.A....He was unfairly given another shot ahead of Yadav but when he was our best bowler in the tests(Yes Wickets matter) why the hate? He should be picked for the next test series....Period.......Yadav has Zak's slot. You need to come up with a subjective argument than just say a player sucks because that is the popular notion

The guy has outdone himself Not only he performed,he captained his team t oRanji glory in 16 years.....Hence if you followed Ranjis,not even watched but just followed,it is an incredible feat. If that doesn't deserve another shot what will? Moving on to a youngster is always a good option but I will not go all postal on the selectors if that happens

Ranji winners do not auto get into international teams particularly when you are a tried & tested failure. The only exception is that there has to be some change. In Vinay's case, it was pace - I watched him bowl enough and I don't see any change in his pace. Compadre?

Compadre?[/quote'] As much as I would like it ,If out and out pace was the criteria...Aaron and Yadav would have played every game.....B.K,Mohit would not even be in the scheme of things. Also with Zak going downhill,There is a search for a senior bowler to lead the attack atleast in ODI's......The guy just won a Ranji tophy as captain+performance=Do the math you are good at it. Hence he is deservingly getting the hype nothing else.

Because every one knows he will fail again and waste another season of cricket which could have been used to tried some one else ? He will fail it's certain, even u accept that then why accept it ? Why is it wrong to criticize selection which every one accepts will lead to nothing and he will fail again to come back to ranji again next year ? How is it logical to ignore how he will perform while selecting him ? Hope this last line explains my stand Selections are done not to reward just good performance in ranji it is called selection to pick players who will be capable of performing for Indian team and if vinay certainly cannot do that then his selection should be ridiculed ...praise him for his performance give him award but selecting is team is not award or his right so let's not act like he has been done wrong if he is not selected . We Indians need to understand difference between selection and reward

Can you forget about other examples? We are talking about Vinay Kumar. Vinay Kumar hasn't changed since the last time he played International matches. I don't see any reason why we should pick him. He might be an excellent bowler in domestic cricket but you need to tell me why we should pick him in ODIs/Test matches. Why is Vinay a good investment? I don't see any reason.
