head coach
I agree DesiChap. I have always felt how ICC's bowling expert's let him off the hook. He does bent his arm! Link to comment

Holysmoke
Murali releases the ball in a clean way there is no issues!Yep, i was thinking the same. Its only that the ball comes out from the side of the hand, like a leg spinner(but the other side), rather than a pacer, where the ball comes out from the top of the hand.. Link to comment

If you can't call this a chuck, them Akhtar has got to have a clean action as well. Link to comment
Ram
And compare that video to this one, xynobj9JYlw If anything Shoaib's action has deteriorated over the years. Link to comment

coffee_rules
Jeff THompson had a sling action like Malinga. Chuktar's is not a sling action. There is a lot of difference. Link to comment

Thompson and Malinga before they release the ball, do a reverse bowling action when the arm swivels back and goes straight forward without any bending and straightening. Shoaib just lifts his shoulder, extends this arm back and goes forward while bending and straightening. Bending is not the real issue here. But straightening after bending gives a clear action of a chuck. Link to comment
