Exactly same action, no pace, no control, sala kaha kaha se chale ate hai, and Some ICFers have gone ga ga over him as future India all rounder, this guys is horrible and should not get selected higher then Himachal Ranji team, not even Zonal teams. Thiru was so much over rated when he came in to Indian side and got tormented in Australia, sala Bagal me se hath nikal ke ball dalte hai or sare aise trundlers India me hi paida hote hai, some of the jokers are Do Unt (camel) Aby Kuruvilla, VK Prasad Marakat Sap - Debasis Mohanty Bagal Buster - Thiru Kumaran, Rishi Dhawan Black Panther - A Mithun Sale hamare yahahi aise Vichitra Vir paida hote hai

You saw one match where he might not be at his best. You don't get 48 wickets in the season for nothing. No one said he is pacy. He is a swing bowler around 130.

A Mithun got 41 wickets. Dinda got 40 wickets. You don't get 40+ wickets in a season for nothing (Not to mention, Dhawan played in the Plate League while the others were in tougher groups)

They are good domestic bowlers but tried and tested, what Dhawan has is swing both ways which other two do not have.

where did I say good international bowler? He took wickets at domestic level, so he is a good bowler and good domestic often make progress to international and if they will be good at international level is a different thing but he at least deserves a chance after second consecutive good season.

In the last 2 season he has scored more than 600 runs & has taken more than 75 wickets. He can be considered as 2nd change bowler in seaming conditions like England,NZ.We are playing with 7 frontline batsman in odi,he can be useful for WC in Australia as a bowler who can bowl in the middle overs & bat at no 8

@Tweaker, agree that swing bowlers could be useful in Eng but definately not in Aus, Rishi will be murdered in Aus and please don't consider him as all rounder, we have every mediocore players scoring tons of runs in Plate division, look where is he coming to bat now in Deodhar trophy after Rasool and Bhajji, that just suggest that he is even below category then Bhajji in terms of batting ability and Bhajji is not considered allrounder he is merely a off break bowler with some ability with bat. I can understand why eveyone is praising him cause all rounder cupboard is very much empty and any one with little ability considered india prospect "Ujjad Gaun me Erranda pradhan" Seriously Abhisek Nayar is so much better then Rishi bowls faster and more acurate then Rishi and is way better batsman then him, its no brainer if fit he should play as allrounder in away tours.

I rate Rishi Dhawan higher than Nayar because most of the time Dhawan has to take responsibility of both batting &bowling for a weak Himachal team, which he has took for the last 2 season.I also rate his batting more because he is batting in the fast bowler friendly region in North zone. Most of the time he has scored 50 batting in difficult situations. If Himachal batting was strong enough,he would had more centuries

What is more shocking is that inspite of being the highest wicket taker,in the Ranji season,he was not considered for Irani Trophy.Performance wise he was far ahead of Stuart Binny, but Binny is now part of the national team
