Sure he bats down the order but when its his turn, he does nothing. The only exception (and a big one) being the 2011 wc final. Hope he plays a big part. He doesnt look that good in t20s - aggression and execution dont match as they do in odis.. dont know why. Even today he struggled despite the few boundaries.

As for M$D - he has ONE noteworthy inning to his credit in world cups and Champions Trophy combined.
