However, Dhawan has the ability to strike it big time which Rahane does not. With nearly every other cog working well for India. Should India risk it? A stable 20 runs from Rahane at slightly more than run a ball might just be what India need.

A stable 20 runs from Rahane at slightly more than run a ball might just be what India need. absolutely. when runs are dried after a wicket, he can rotate the strike and keep runs coming. he will score more than 20, just that he gave majority of strike to the batsmen who was hitting it well (kohli) which is how its done. Thought rahane and kohli did well, just didnt cash in on their starts
