Now for the science bit: as Ajmal begins to bring his arm over to bowl' date= there is, on average, a 23.5 degree bend in his elbow (elbow flexion) - the angle to which Ajmal referred in his BBC interview. As he delivers the ball, his arm straightens (elbow extension) by, on average, eight degrees - well within the 15-degree range of tolerance for international cricket set by the ICC. First - I dont give a damn about this university of Western Australia. I am not sure how good they are. It seems like someone paid them off for this bullsheet. Even by their admission he flexes it by 25 degrees and straightens it later on. So according to my calculations he can get much more rpm by 25 degree bend than someone like Ashwin who is barely 3 degrees. 25/3 = 8 times the advantage. If he has arm problem he can play paraolympics but should not be allowed to set foot on cricket field.
