gakgupta Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I didn't realize that they play for same ranji team until i saw the score card today....Below are the stats Kuldeep Yadav 4 0 11 1 2.75 PP Chawla 4 0 20 2 5.00 Above stats prove that kuldeep could be a good prospect for the upcoming IPL......No wonder he was more economical than piyush as his stock delivery which is a leg break will turn unlike piyush......Just looking at one T20 game (that too domestic match), it's unfair to say that Kuleep is better than piyush......but looking at the quality of his bowling which was displayed in the recent U19 world cup, he is a great prospect......I wish that he was playing for the senior t20 team.....he has it in him to out-fox most of the batsmen....... If sub-continent teams are getting it tough to face Badree.....than this guy can be very handful......Being a chineman, he has to be very accurate but wrong one in pretty good and stock ball turns a whole lot......just like warne
gakgupta Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 I found stats for another match as well PP Chawla 4 0 21 2 5.25 (1w) Kuldeep Yadav 4 0 15 3 3.75
Bleed-Blue Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Are just talking about Bowling because Chawla has made some runs with the bat as well

In those matches he played, he was not at all a threat to the opposition batters.

Straight Drive Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Above 2 stats of piyush and yadav show that yadav is not too far behind piyush....so the quality might not be too bad The above stats show that he was in better form than Piyush in that particular match. As for the quality , it can only be confirmed when he plays at international level for a year or so.

King Tendulkar Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Yadav is very interesting player to watch Chawla cant turn his leggie so limited use.
JaFanatic Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I get the feeling that he will make an impact in this IPL.......Any idea which team he will be representing in IPL? :mi: dont see them play him ahead of bhajji and ojha

I6MTW Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Piyush Chawla can extract pace and bounce because of his height.
undisputed chap Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Why do u guys keep bringing up moon face chawla . He is by far the least talented leggie in country. He plays domestic cricket in england & gets whacked around there as well. Kuldeep on the other hand can be a good prospect. If he can turn his leggies he can play as the lone spinner for india in overseas tests after 2-3 years or so.
vijay50 Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Piyush Chawla can extract pace and bounce because of his height. Dont know about that, but the chand baba is Kaanphident.
tweaker Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 If Kuldeep Yadav is successful in IPL,he will make debut in the national team soo

Played 4 FC matches, scored a 100, took 2 5-ers and ended with 17 wickets@26 in County Cricket. And he's a decent all rounder in the domestic circuit now in the shorter formats. Last 3 T20s - 7 wickets @12 and scores of 37*, 6, 45* last 5 one dayers - 14 wickets @17 Also, if U-19 is the benchmark for Kuldeep Yadav Check Chawla's record at that level. FC - 7 matches , 378 runs @48, 2 100s, 41 wickets @16 One Dayers- 37 matches, 488 runs @26, 71 wickets @16 Based on those numbers, should have been the best ever all rounder for us. Alas, the gulf betwen U-19 (or for that matter domestic cricket) and international cricket is a little too wide!
undisputed chap Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Chawla plays in plate division in county. He cant even turn his leggies. He is not international class.
gakgupta Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 If Kuldeep Yadav is successful in IPL' date='he will make debut in the national team soo[/quote'] These days IPL seems to be the door for national selection......If he performs well....atleast his state team will be forced to play him in the ranji's......I dont think he made a debut for UP yet in ranji's
